STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – After the first day of the 2018 BIG EAST Track & Field Championships Presented by Jeep, both the Marquette men and women are in the lead with 63 points on the women’s side and 68 points on the men’s side.
For the women, St. John’s is in second with 48 points, while Villanova is in third with 39 points. For the men, Villanova is second with 45 points with DePaul in third with 25 points. Finals for Friday included the pole vault, weight throw and long jump, 5,000-meter run, Distance Medley Relay and women’s pentathlon.
