After a back-and-forth opening five minutes, Villanova went on an 8-1 run to lead by six. The Wildcats never trailed again, leading by as many as 24 to improve to 4-2 on the season. Mary Gedaka notched her first double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, while Adrianna Hahn led all scorers with 17 points.
