NEW YORK – Saturday night in BIG EAST volleyball featured two East Coast matches as No. 12 Marquette swept Georgetown while Villanova outlasted DePaul in a four-set match.
Week 4 of conference action wraps up on Sunday when Butler travels to Providence for a 1 p.m. ET match followed by Xavier at No. 11 Creighton with first serve set for 2 p.m.
Marquette 3, Georgetown 0 (25-15,25-10,25-17)
No. 12 Marquette (17=3, 7-1 BIG EAST) capped off week one of its two week road swing with a 3-0 sweep of Georgetown (12-10, 2-6) on Saturday night.
