The Wildcats (27-14) defeated the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights (3-27) in both games of a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. Villanova won the first game 10-0 in six innings and the second game by a final score of 5-2 in nine innings. In game one, VU got off to a fast start in the first inning, as the team crossed the plate five times to take an early lead.
