NEW YORK – BIG EAST men’s soccer teams went 3-1-0 Monday night with No. 19 St. John’s improving to 6-0-0 with a 5-1 win at Columbia, RV Creighton getting a 2-1 victory over Nebraska-Omaha and Providence defeating Harvard 1-0. RV Villanova lost a tight one to 2018 NCAA national champions Maryland in College Park, 1-0.
The 6-0-0 start for the Red Storm is the best in program history.
Butler (3-1-0) plays at S.I.U.E. on Tuesday night. First kick will be streamed like on ESPN3. The Cougars are 1-2-1 on the season with their lone win coming against Evansville, a team Butler also defeated this season.
