Georgetown vs. Syracuse 2016 final score: Hoyas peel out a victory over the Orange

Related Topics: Georgetown Hoyas, Carrier Dome

Georgetown juiced up a big road win on Saturday afternoon, knocking off former Big East foe Syracuse at the Carrier Dome 78-71.

In the latest chapter of this epic rivalry, the Hoyas manufactured a late run to pull away from ‘Cuse after trading blows for a majority of the game. Despite a push from the Orange, they couldn’t quite squeeze Georgetown enough to get the win, as JT3 and his bunch can say they have the last laugh in Jim Boeheim’s final go-around in this rivalry.

The dynamic duo of Rodney Pryor and LJ Peak matched one another with 20 and 23 points respectively in the win.
