In a do-or-die situation, the Georgetown Hoyas have responded awfully well. In spite of a 13-2 run by Charlotte to end the first half, Georgetown is ahead 32-29 after the first 20 minutes of action.
A balanced effort has put Georgetown ahead at the end of the first half. Isaac Copeland, D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Tre Campbell combined for 19 of the Hoyas' 32 points, with Copeland leading the way with eight. DSR is 3-for-5 from the field, as the senior from Indy has appeared to have gotten his shot back. Tre Campbell has six points at the end of the first half and was 2-for-3 from the 3-point line.
