Georgetown, Seton Hall Earn Season’s First #BIGEASTswim Accolades

NEW YORK – Georgetown sophomore Phoebe Slaughter and Seton Hall junior Josh Tosoni collect the initial BIG EAST swimming and diving awards of the season. This week includes performances from the past two weekends as teams across the country begin their seasons. All BIG EAST schools have competed at least once, except Villanova which will kick off competition on Oct. 13.

BIG EAST Women’s Athlete of the Week
Phoebe Slaughter, Georgetown, So., Free/IM (Darien, Conn.)
Slaughter won a team-high three individual events against Davidson. She touched first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.
