BOYDS, Md. – The BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship Presented by JEEP continued Thursday night with No. 1 seed Georgetown downing No. 4 seed Providence, 2-0, in the second semifinal game. With the win, the Hoyas return to the BIG EAST title game for the ninth straight season.
Georgetown (11-3-4, 6-0-2 BIG EAST) got off to a blazing start, as Zach Zengue connected with Mitchell Baker on a corner kick just 3:40 into the game. The goal marked the 10th of the season for Baker and the 36th point for Zengue.
