WASHINGTON – The second-seeded Georgetown University women's soccer team fell to three-seeded Florida State 3-1 in the third round of the NCAA Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Head Coach Dave Nolan
"We're obviously disappointed not to be moving on. We knew this was going to be a tough game against a Florida State team that's possibly the most talented team in the country. The game itself, I thought we started very brightly. We put them under real pressure. We had a couple of good moments, kind of out of nowhere. They scored, probably against the run of play to put us down 1-0, which was hard to take.
