If you only watched the first ten minutes of this game and then turned it off to go do something else, you likely would have a very different view of both of these teams.
The Fairleigh Dickinson Knights gave the Seton Hall Pirates an early scare, as they led 17-16 with 11 minutes left in the first half. As is often the case in early season college basketball, though, talent won out en route to Seton Hall’s 90-68 win.
This is Seton Hall’s sixth straight season-opening victory under Kevin Willard. The Pirates lost Willard’s first season opener, 62-56 to Temple, but have won every one since, including two in a row against Fairleigh Dickinson.
