INDIANAPOLIS – Two BIG EAST teams heard their names called during Sunday evening’s selection show for the 28-team NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Georgetown earned the conference’s automatic bid after winning the BIG EAST Championship presented by Jeep, while runner-up Denver claimed an at-large selection for the second straight year. The Hoyas topped the Pioneers in double-overtime, 9-8, in yesterday’s thrilling title game.
