Offensive Player of the Week
Jaela Zimmerman, Creighton, Jr., OH (Lincoln, Neb.)
Creighton junior Jaela Zimmerman repeats as BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week as she helped lead the Bluejays to back-to-back sweeps over Butler this past weekend. Her kills per set average (4.17) is second in the league last week with a hitting percentage of .312 which also ranks in the top 10. Zimmerman added 3.50 digs per set as well. On Friday, Zimmerman posted 13 kills and nine digs while hitting .448 in a 3-0 sweep. On Saturday, she helped clinched the series with a double-double, 12 kills, 12 digs and an ace.
