Creighton defeats Kennesaw State to improve to 3-0

For the first time since the 2017-18 season, the Creighton Bluejays are 3-0.

Creighton picked up their third win of the season Friday afternoon in Omaha, defeating the Kennesaw State Owls by a 93-58 margin.

Creighton handily defeating one of the nation’s worst teams isn’t a surprise. What was a bit of a surprise was how Creighton got its points. Of the team’s 93 points, 50 came in the paint, while just 21 came from beyond the arc. It’s unlike any Creighton game we’ve seen in a while, and a big part of that is because seven-foot freshman Ryan Kalkbrenner has become an unstoppable force in the paint.
