NEW YORK – Creighton’s Nick Campbell and DePaul’s Hristina Djokic have been awarded the first BIG EAST Tennis Male and Female Athlete of the Week honors for 2020, respectively. Campbell knocked off a ranked opponent, while Djokic went 4-1 on the weekend at the Indiana Winter Invitational.

Campbell kicked off the 2020 dual season with a big win as the sophomore tallied a three-set victory at No. 1 against Iowa’s 60th-ranked Kareem Allaf by a score of 6-4, 4-6, 10-4.
