It took overtime to settle the score, but Butler survived their road test in D.C., handing the Georgetown Hoyas yet another loss.
This time around, it was to the tune of 85-76, as the Hoyas fall to 0-4 in Big East play while Butler has rallied to win their last three Big East games after opening with a loss to St. John’s.
The game wasn’t played at the most blistering of paces from a points perspective. The halftime score was merely 32-31 in favor of the Hoyas, and the teams combined for just 73 points in the second half before the final five minute period.
