The Butler Bulldogs improved to 17-3 (6-2 in Big East play) on the season with a 70-69 overtime victory over the DePaul Blue Demons (8-12, 1-6) in Rosemont on Saturday.
It probably wasn’t how Chris Holtmann and the Bulldogs drew it up, as DePaul got out to an early 20 point lead in the first eight minutes of the game and held the lead for a total of minutes of action, but such is life in conference road games.
