Four double figure efforts helped power the Butler Bulldogs to victory Saturday.
Bryce Nze, Jordan Tucker, Sean McDermott and Aaron Thompson combined for 59 points, as the Dawgs earned their second win of the season over the New Orleans Privateers. The Bulldogs’ final tally of 79-53 keeps them unbeaten, as they’re 2-0 for the seventh straight season.
Butler led from wire to wire after McDermott’s slam dunk 27 seconds into the game. McDermott’s 3-pointer just 25 seconds later propped them up 5-0, and they were off to the races after that.
