Whatever the reason, NIU allowed Sean McDermott and Paul Jorgensen to find themselves open on the perimeter over and over again on Saturday, and the two sharpshooters propelled Butler to a 95-68 victory.
McDermott, who has really become a three-point assassin for the Bulldogs, sunk his first trey just 2:11 into the game. A minute and a half later, Jorgensen made his first triple. 28 seconds later, McDermott buried another from long range.
