After a rough several days for the Creighton men’s basketball team, the Bluejays got just what they needed on Senior Night, blowing out the Butler Bulldogs SCORE. Without head coach Greg McDermott, the Jays were able to put the game out of reach with enough time remaining to sub out all their seniors to ovations from the limited home crowd.
Creighton had one of its best offensive games of the year, overwhelming the Bulldogs with transition offense and three-point shooting. Butler, playing without Aaron Thompson, Bo Hodges, and Bryce Nze (who was injured early in the first half), was no match for the 14th-ranked Jays.
