BIG EAST Championship Update
With a 2-0 win over RV Butler, No. 4 Georgetown clinched the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Women’s Soccer Championship presented by Jeep. The Bulldogs can still earn a bye directly into the semifinals, but will need St. John’s to slip up after the Red Storm moved into a tie for second with Butler. St. John’s owns the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Bulldogs, should they finish knotted in the standings.
