Arielle Schechtman made eight saves and added an assist to keep the Blue Demons off the board and add to the Hoyas’ scoring as No. 7 Georgetown improved to 2-0 in BIG EAST play. Meaghan Nally needed just 2:13 to get the Hoyas on the board as she buried a corner kick from Grace Nguyen early in the contest. Kyra Carusa and Caitlin Farrell added second-half insurance goals, with Farrell’s being the eighth of the season to lead the league.
