Kickoff To 2019
The 2019 women’s soccer season gets under way this week and all 10 BIG EAST teams will take the pitch for a combined 18 matches. Eight squads kick off the campaign on Thursday, with Creighton beginning Friday (vs. Kansas State) and Seton Hall holding off until Sunday (at Loyola, Md.). Of the combined 17 opponents (No. 7 Georgetown and St. John’s both face James Madison), five are coming off NCAA Championship berths and three are either ranked or receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.
