Glory Johnson matched her career high with seven goals while adding an assist to lead Old Dominion (1-1) to its first win of the 2020 season, taking down VCU 14-9 at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Wednesday afternoon. ODU never trailed in the contest as Johnson scored three of the game’s first five goals. The Monarchs led by as many as six, 10-4, before the Rams got within three, 11-8, midway through the second half. ODU responded with a three-goal run, including Johnson’s seventh score of the game.
