National Defensive Player of the Week
One day after being named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive installment, Temple sophomore goalkeeper Maryn Lowell was named the National Defensive Player of the Week by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). Lowell made 12 saves in the Owls' only game of the week, a 10-9 upset of then-No. 22/16 Denver on March 18. She totaled six saves in each half and made her final save with 20 seconds left to prevent a possible overtime.
