The second-to-last weekend of the regular season saw the final three spots clinched in the 2019 BIG EAST Women’s Lacrosse Championship presented by Jeep. No. 24/- Georgetown, Villanova and Marquette join No. 15/15 Denver in the conference tournament, set for May 2 and 4 at Marquette’s Valley Fields in Milwaukee, Wis. Seeding is still to be determined, yet the Pioneers have clinched at least a share of the regular-season title following their 21-11 win over the Golden Eagles on Friday.
