The Wildcats shot a blistering 64.9 percent from the field en route to a convincing win over the visiting Hoyas. Villanova couldn't miss in the third quarter, as the Wildcats made 17 of 18 shots for 94.4 percent shooting. The clip helped Villanova outscore Georgetown 39-14 in the third to take a 77-30 lead. Kelly Jekot was 7-of-7 from the field in the third stanza for 16 points, while Mary Gedaka was 5-of-5 for 11 points.
