UConn starts off the season 1-0 for the 25th straight season following a convincing victory over visiting UMass Lowell on Saturday at Gampel Pavilion. The long awaited debut of highly touted freshman Paige Bueckers did not disappoint as the rookie posted game highs of 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five steals. Olivia Nelson-Ododa (12 points), Christyn Williams (10) and Mir McLean (10) joined Bueckers in double figures, while Nelson-Ododa was one board shy of a double-double.
