Euan Makepeace, Butler, R-Jr., Distance (Loughborough, United Kingdom)
Redshirt junior Euan Makepeace opened calendar year 2019 with a win, taking the top spot in the 3,000-meter run at the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Ky. Makepeace finished in 8:08.50, a time which tops the BIG EAST charts and is third-best in the NCAA. He finished six seconds ahead of the second place finisher.
