GENEVA, Ohio – The 2019 BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships presented by Jeep return to Spire Institute on Friday for the first time since 2013. Villanova returns as the defending champions on both the men’s and women’s side. The Wildcats will be looking to earn their eighth title for the men and 16th for the women.
Action begins 9 a.m. ET on Friday with the first events of the pentathlon and heptathlon. Field events start at 10:30 a.m. and running races begin at 11:30 a.m. and will continue through 3 p.m. Eleven of Friday’s running races will be trials, the 5,000-meter event and distance medley relay will be finals.
