Three Games Set for Wednesday
In the lone BIG EAST game Tuesday night, Connecticut rallied from an 18-point deficit to score a 65-54 victory at Marquette.
Marquette (6-6, 2-4 BIG EAST) led 31-23 at halftime and began the second half with a 12-2 run to increase its lead to 43-25. The Huskies (5-1, 2-1 BIG EAST) were hampered by James Bouknight’s elbow injury suffered in the first half, but reserve forward Tyler Polley exploded to score all of his career-high 23 points in the second half to spark UConn.
