#BIGEASTmbb Minute: Marquette, Seton Hall Grab Wednesday Wins

In Wednesday’s action, Marquette rode a very strong first half en route to a comfortable road victory, while Seton Hall used a late surge to win on its home court.

Marquette was ahead 41-25 by halftime in its 73-57 win at Butler. Greg Elliott replaced Jamal Cain in the starting lineup for the Golden Eagles (10-12, 6-10 BIG EAST) and both players responded positively. Elliott scored a career-high 17 points and Cain had his second career double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. The Bulldogs (7-12, 6-10 BIG EAST), who played without injured Bryce Nze, got 21 points from freshman Chuck Harris and 18 from Bryce Golden.
