Freshman Justin Lewis tipped in a missed free throw as time expired to lift Marquette to a 67-65 victory over in-state rival and fourth-ranked Wisconsin Friday night at Fiserv Forum.
Lewis, who finished with a game-high 18 points, made the winning play after D.J. Carton had made the first of two free throws that tied the game 65-65 with .9 seconds remaining. Carton, who made his first start in a Marquette uniform, finished with 12 points.
For the second straight game, Creighton placed six players in double figures en route to a comfortable victory.
