OMAHA, Neb. – Thursday starts the 32nd BIG EAST Baseball Championship, Presented by Jeep, which returns to Omaha, Neb. to the home of the College World Series – TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. All four teams return from last season, with BIG EAST Regular Season champion Creighton, St. John’s, Seton Hall and Xavier.
It is the third time since the reconfiguration of the conference that the BIG EAST Baseball Championship has had these same four teams. Xavier returns as the defending champions. The Musketeers have won both times (2014, 2016) that these four teams faced off in the league championship.
