On Tuesday night, KenPom’s first set of rankings for the upcoming 2020-21 season were revealed, and the Big East has a very strong presence.
The conference boasts 11 teams all within the Top 100 of the initial set of rankings. Five of them are seated within the Top 50, and no team sits worse than 86th prior to the start of the year.
Unsurprisingly, the Villanova Wildcats lead the pack at the moment. ‘Nova ranks 4th to start the year, sitting behind the Baylor Bears, Gonzaga Bulldogs and Duke Blue Devils.
