BIG EAST begins Conference-wide membership to WeCOACH, which develops female coaches across all sports.
NEW YORK - The BIG EAST Conference today announced a league-wide membership with WeCOACH, a premier professional development organization committed to recruiting, advancing and retaining women coaches across all sports and levels. Under the new arrangement, BIG EAST female coaches will have access to WeCOACH’s unique services and resources, which include educational programs, workshops and forums, as well as networking opportunities.
The membership was an initiative recommended by the BIG EAST’s Diversity and Inclusion Working Group, which was formed in July 2019 to devise a diversity, equity and inclusion roadmap for the conference's member schools.
