COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that seven conferences had 100 percent of their swimming and diving teams selected as Scholar All-America teams. Of the seven, four, including the BIG EAST had both of their men’s and women’s programs honored. The other three conferences were the American Athletic Conference, the Big XII Conference and the Colonial Athletic Association. To receive Scholar All-America honors, student-athletes must earn grade point averages of 3.00 or higher for the fall semester.
The BIG EAST consists of six women’s and five men’s squads, sponsored by Butler (women only), Georgetown, Providence, Seton Hall, Villanova and Xavier.
