The Seton Hall Pirate’s landed a highly touted recruit Saturday night, as 2021 3-star forward Tyler Powell (Los Angeles, CA) announced via his Instagram live they to South Orange next season.
Per the 247Sports Composite rankings the 133rd best in the class, 29th best small forward, and 10th best player from California.
He chose Seton Hall over schools including Nevada, Pepperdine, UCSB, Washington State, New Mexico, TCU, Stanford and LMU.
Powell has great range all the way out to the perimeter with his jumper, can rebound well for his position and is also able finish well through contact.
