NEW YORK – The BIG EAST announced on Thursday the 88 swimming and diving athletes which have been named to the All-Conference squad after their performances at the BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships presented by Jeep last week at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y.
In all, 47 women and 41 men were recognized. Georgetown, Villanova and Xavier each boasted 23 men and women that have been named to the All-BIG EAST team. Women’s champion Villanova, along with Georgetown women each received 13 nods, while on the men’s side, champion Xavier led the way with 12.
