An undefeated Oklahoma State team will make the playoffs.
At least that's the contention of Cowboys mega booster T. Boone Pickens, writes Chuck Carlton of the Dallas Morning News.
"They're not going to put somebody in with a loss ahead of somebody (undefeated)," Pickens told Carlton.
Oklahoma State, at No. 6 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, appears to be in prime position to play its way into a playoff. However, No. 4 Notre Dame, whose only loss was to No. 1 Clemson, provides a potential obstacle to a playoff berth.
Pickens is right in saying an unbeaten Oklahoma State, logically, should not be left out for a one-loss Notre Dame.
