Trevor Knight, who was granted a full release by Oklahoma after being unseated by Baker Mayfield at quarterback this season, is free to transfer to any school without losing any eligibility.
According to Taylor Hamm of 247Sports, "Texas A&M is the leader to land the graduate transfer," and "the San Antonio product spoke with A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin multiple times this week and is looking to announce his decision sometime before Christmas."
With Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen already transferring out of Texas A&M this winter, Knight would be the front-runner to land the starting gig for the Aggies next season.
