Here's what we learned about Kansas State during spring football:
What we learned about the offense: There were positive signs the Wildcats offense could be more explosive after a disappointing 2015 showing. Jesse Ertz has returned from injury and looks like the favorite to win the quarterback job. Yet that he hasn't secured the starting spot is a good sign with Joe Hubener looking improved and Alex Delton returning from an injury of his own to fight for a role in the offense. The best news may be the emergence of junior college transfer Byron Pringle, who had nine receptions for 163 yards and one touchdown in the spring game and could help fill the playmaking void in the offense while providing balance to the attack.
