At the start of every week that Oklahoma plays a game, coach Bob Stoops appoints an assistant coach to deliver a scouting report that introduces the Sooners to their next opponent.
The reports are filled with statistics, matchups and player breakdowns. This week, Oklahoma running backs coach and special teams coordinator Jay Boulware carried a stack of papers into a meeting Monday afternoon before practice.
He stood before the Sooners and threw his report into the air, one sheet of paper after another for dramatic effect.
"It doesn’t matter," Boulware told the Oklahoma players of the information he held on Texas.
