Seth Jacobs early departure a blow for Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State will have to replace one of its defensive stars before expected.

Defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah declared his intentions to enter the NFL draft, which was not a great surprise. However, linebacker Seth Jacobs has also announced his Oklahoma State playing career is over because of health concerns, writes Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman.

Jacobs, a redshirt junior, announced his decision via a Facebook post.

The California native had become a key part of the Oklahoma State defense during his final two seasons. Jacobs finishes his career with 168 tackles (107 solo) including 15 tackles for loss, four interceptions, two fumbles and one sack.
