Yet that's exactly what Oklahoma got when the Sooners hosted Tulsa, knocking off the Golden Hurricane, 52-38, on Sept. 19. First-year coach Phillip Montgomery took over the Golden Hurricane after seven seasons at Baylor, including three as the Bears' offensive coordinator. He brought his squad to Norman in a nonconference matchup that could end up helping Oklahoma when it faces Baylor on Saturday.
