Oklahoma State's win brings light to a dark day in Stillwater

A motorist plowed into a crowd of spectators Saturday during the Oklahoma State homecoming parade, killing four people.

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Midway through the second quarter of Oklahoma State’s 58-10 win over Kansas on Saturday, a public announcement rang through the air.

“Students, please call your parents” came the plea from the public address system at Boone Pickens Stadium asking Oklahoma State students to call home and let their families know they were OK.

That’s never a good sign.

Tragedy hit Oklahoma State University on Saturday morning after a motorist drove into a crowd of spectators during the school’s homecoming parade, killing four people, including a 2-year-old, and injuring several others.
