STILLWATER, Okla. -- Last season, behind some good fortune and a series of fourth-quarter comebacks, Oklahoma State jumped to a magical 10-0 start But over the final month, the Cowboys ultimately collapsed and dropped four of their last five games.
This season, however, after some early misfortune and a pair of tough-luck defeats, Oklahoma State appears to be surging into the backstretch.
And, perhaps, is better primed to contend for a Big 12 title this time around.
"We keep winning, we’ll see where that puts it," said linebacker Chad Whitener. "We’ve got to keep playing game-by-game.
