Kansas State is in the early stages of its spring workouts, yet Bill Snyder already has a reason to be encouraged. The longtime coach likes the mindset and hunger of the Wildcats, writes Ken Corbitt of the Topeka (Kansas) Capital-Journal.
Snyder called the Wildcats' first practice "probably as good a practice as I can ever recall here," which could be a sign the squad is hungry for redemption after a disappointing season.
Kansas State's injury-riddled season ended with a 6-7 record in 2015. It was the Wildcats' first losing season since 2008. Snyder returned to coach Kansas State in November 2008 after a three-year hiatus.
