A statue of TCU coach Gary Patterson is set to be unveiled this weekend alongside statues for Davey O'Brien and Dutch Meyer, reports Carlos Mendez of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
"I'm humbled that somebody would want to do it, the university would want to do it," Patterson told Mendez. "But we've got football games to win."
The unveiling of the statues will cap off a busy week for TCU with the Horned Frogs pro day on Thursday and spring game scheduled for Friday.
On the field, Patterson praised transfer receiver John Diarse for his strong spring after graduating from LSU and deciding to finish his career at TCU.
