Two seasons ago, Texas Tech’s Davis Webb seemed on the verge of becoming of the Big 12's star quarterbacks.
But in his second season, Webb struggled with turnovers, and the Red Raiders struggled to win games. Then he suffered multiple injuries and gave way to Patrick Mahomes, who ultimately put the clamps on the starting job in 2015 with a breakout sophomore campaign.
Now, as a graduate transfer, Webb is looking for a new start elsewhere. And this past weekend, that search began with a trip to Colorado.
